Early Irish Banknotes: Callan Bank (Three Shillings and Ninepence-Halfpenny) 1801-07


The Old Currency Exchange is Ireland's leading dealer in old coins, tokens and banknotes for discerning collectors.

The Hearn family were important merchants in Callan in the early 19th C and one Michael Hearn registered his new bank on 24th August, 1801. He traded as The Callan Bank traded from 1801-7.
