Description:

An Hiberno-Norse silver penny, Phase III, Class A (Plain Bust), Type 1g (Long Cross with two hands + quatrefoil on reverse). Blundered legends on both obverse and reverse – undecipherable.

  • Plain bust, imitating earlier Phase I types.
  • Legend:
    • Blundered and indecipherable.

Reverse:

  • Long cross, imitating earlier Phase I Long Cross type. Two hands within the quadrants of the cross and one quatrefoil.
