Obverse:

  • Crowned bust of Elizabeth I, facing left
  • Mintmark: Harp
  • Legend:
    • “ELIZABETH REG. AN. FR. HIBERNIE”
      • Translation:
      • “Elizabeth by the Grace of God, Queen of England, France and Ireland”

Reverse:

  • Three Harps posed on crowned shield, date either side
  • Mintmark: Harp
  • Legend:
    • “POSVI DEVM ADIVTOREM MEV”
      • Translation:
      • “I have made God my helper”  (Psalm. 54:4)
