We just discovered 17 1988 Dublin Millennium Fifty pence Pieces and 37 1973 “Hands” Fifty UK pence (EEC commemorative) pieces, in my late mother inlaws house. All in excellent condition but not “proof” sets.

Look at the prices in the price guide.
The British ‘hands’ 50p pieces have been de-monetised, so no longer legal tender.
They’re quite common, so perhaps 50p in a UK dealer’s cheap coin tray !
